This is the first time i have studied since school and first time i have ever had to do any distance learning. I am finding the course very good. I have great support from tutors, feedback on submission work is always good, positive and really reassuring i am learning and understanding the content of the course. I get regular calls from the college as courtesy calls and i think these are really good. My experience with requesting materials and asking for help has always been very good, i had one issue where i was sent materials twice as i had to chase for the materials but that has only happened once. The tutors are always very friendly, reassuring and helpful. The experience through DLC has been great and i would certainly think about studying further courses in this way with this college in the future.
I am so happy that I found DLC training. I have wanted for so long to study the ILM level 3 Award and Certificate in Leadership and Management -but I have not been able to because 1) not many centres teach the courses 2) I cannot get to them after work in time 3) the units are set in stone and I cannot study what I want to! However, thanks to DLC I can now study the units that I want to and if I don't finish in the allocated time limit I can pay a monthly extension fee and take my time in finishing the course. My course tutor is always there at the end of the phone and my course mentor is always helpful and supportive when I need him. I am truly thankful that I found DLC as I don't think I would have ever studied this course had I not.
I am so pleased I went with the DLC, they have been so helpful and as I looked at delaying my studies, very understanding. I would highly recommend anyone use them, course material arrived promptly and anything I didn't understand the student team helped me. Also the tutor is very helpful in explaining what you have to do. I'm looking forward to starting my level 2 cips first educational training in 13 years so wish me luck.
