We are the best performing FE college in Somerset for Vocational and A level courses (League Tables 2018). Our reputation for providing outstanding education is supported by a number of official reports. Our commitment to being outstanding in everything we do is reinforced by our Quality Assurance Policy.
We are an Ofsted 'outstanding' college with an outstanding track record of exceptional student progress for our A levels and advanced vocational programmes. Our students consistently gain excellent results and achieve beyond their expectations.
Our students achieve significantly higher grades than predicted, based on their GCSE results. They also achieve consistently high results, which are significantly above national averages and place us in the top 10% of sixth form provision nationally (Alps).
Student progress is measured by 'value-added' scores in the league tables. This shows the difference between the grades a student is expected to achieve at advanced level, based on their GCSE results, and what they actually achieve after two years studying with us.
