Bebington High Sports College has been a specialist College since 2001. The specialist status has provided us with additional funding, facilities and staffing which allows us to enhance the teachingand learning for all our students. We aim to use sport, and the values which it represents; leadership, perseverance, fair play, teamwork, and loyalty as a language through which we can develop the potential in all young people.
St John Plessington Catholic College is an Outstanding Voluntary Aided Catholic 11-18 Academy. We serve the population of the Wirral and are oversubscribed in all year groups with 1450 pupils. We havereceived many accolades over the years including in 2010/2011 the Times Educational Supplement's "OUTSTANDING SECONDARY SCHOOL OF THE YEAR" award.

MECNW was set up in 1998 as a centre of vocational excellence to combat chronic skills shortages in the engineering, construction and manufacturing sectors. MECNW operates as a GROUP TRAININGASSOCIATION, delivering industry-specific programmes in a wide range of engineering and related technical skills. GTAs are unique in that they are employer-driven, which means that training programmes at MECNW are developed with direct input from you.

The College is small - we have approximately 150 students per year aged 16 to 18 (plus another 500+ older students). This means that we know our students and offer a friendly and supportiveenvironment. Classes are taught in small groups, usually between 8 and 10 people. No, we offer courses for disabled and non-disabled students and a very supportive learning environment for everyone.

The Vocational College enjoys substantial contracts for the delivery of NVQ based training with the Skills Funding Agency and the Young Peoples Learning Agency.
